Biography[]

2016 Season[]

Hae "Zet" Sung-min (해성민) joined the ROX Tigers in March 2016 as their substitute mid laner. This was following the suspension of the team's previous sub mid laner, Sylph.^[5]

Zet officially started playing games for the Tigers during the 2016 LCK Summer Split, sharing time with longtime midlaner Kuro. The Tigers once again placed first in the regular season with an impressive 15-3 scoreline in Bo3s, with two losses to SK Telecom T1 and one loss to Samsung Galaxy. This seeded them in the 2016 LCK Summer Playoffs directly into their third domestic finals, where they eventually met KT Rolster. In an epic series, the ROX Tigers won the set 3-2, claiming 1st place in the Summer Split and giving them Korea's first seed into the 2016 Season World Championship.

At the 2016 Season World Championship, the ROX Tigers were placed into Group A, along with G2 Esports, Counter Logic Gaming, and Albus NoX Luna. Although ROX dropped a game to CLG and Albus NoX Luna, they were able to finish the group in first place with a tiebreaker win over ANX. In the Quarterfinals they defeated EDward Gaming 3-1. Then in an epic Semifinals showdown, ROX lost 2-3 to SK Telecom T1 and were eliminated from the tournament. In November Zet left ROX and in the next month he moved over to China and joined EDward Gaming.

2017 Season[]

After Clearlove stepped down as EDG's main jungler, EDG struggled more than they ever did in the past. They failed to defend their LPL title in the 2017 LPL Spring Season and lost 1-3 to RNG in the 2017 Spring Playoffs semifinals. They placed 3rd after taking down OMG 3-2 in the third place match. Summer was much better for the team after Clearlove stepped back in as the primary jungler and leader. Zet however started being subbed out in favor of ADC prodigy iBoy. EDG reclaimed their throne as LPL champions after taking down RNG 3-2 in the finals of the playoffs. Their 2017 Season World Championship participation wasn't so stellar and ultimately EDG was knocked out of Worlds in the group stage. They finished tied for 3rd place along with ahq e-Sports Club. Zet later left EDG in November of 2017.
