Zenith Esports is a North American esports organization.
History[]
2014 Season[]
Zenith Esports was formed in May 2014. The team qualified for the NACS Summer Series 2 but was eliminated in the quarterfinals by Team 8 and so unable to participate in the playoffs. Zenith found more success in the Fall Black Monster Cup, where they placed third, beating Team 8 in the third-place match after losing to Team LoLPro in the semifinals.
2015 Season[]
Zenith qualified for the Spring Expansion Tournament with a roster consisting of TheSoloKing, MiMo, Easy, alextheman, and k1 via the ranked 5's ladder, placing ahead of Final Five and behind compLexity.White. Prior to the tournament, alextheman left the team and was replaced by Frostalicious, who joined from Team Confusion eSports. They were eliminated in the first round, losing 2-1 to Final Five.
After their elimination from the Expansion Tournament, Zenith underwent roster tryouts. Frostalicious and MiMo had left the day after the Expansion Tournament but continued to play with the team for the NACL New Year's Kick-off Tournament and other tournaments. In January, Easy left the team to join Counter Logic Gaming's Challenger team, and k1 left to retire from League of Legends and play Heroes of the Storm.
Zenith acquired a new roster in January, including Allorim, Ex0hh, Bell, and Fas Scriptor to play in the NACS Spring Qualifier. The team was knocked out of the tournament by Storm in the first round.
After the Spring Qualifier Zenith held tryouts and chose ChumpJohn, Darvec, Alfie, Tip, and Virus as their roster for the NACS Summer Qualifier. The team was eliminated from the tournament by Team Liquid Academy in the first round.
Zenith played in the HTC Ascension tournament in November 2015. They made it out of the group stage but then lost in the quarterfinals to Also Known As, and the next day, the roster disbanded.
