Biography

2017 Season

Pepper, then known as Y1HAN, joined Royal Never Give Up in the middle of the 2017 LPL Spring Season as an emergency substitute after the team's starting jungler Mlxg and two substitutes BayBay and Again all had medical emergencies during the same week. Despite the unexpected circumstances, Y1HAN performed well, and stayed on the team for the 2017 LPL Summer Season, seeing occasional playtime. However, Y1HAN was not fielded during either of the team's playoffs runs. Likewise, he accompanied the team to the 2017 World Championship, but did not play. At the end of the season, he left the team and joined FunPlus Phoenix, a new LPL team. He also changed his name to Pepper.

Trivia

His ID Y1han (遗憾) means "Regret" in Chinese.
- Chinese fans sometimes joke about this when RNG official blog says "hope no regret in this tournament."
