Overview

The University eSports League Germany uses a two-layered promotion system. First, the winner of the 2nd Division auto-promotes to the 1st Division. After that, the 8th-10th placed teams from the 1st Divison play the 2nd-4th placed teams from the 2nd Division. The last remaining participant will be determined in a Wildcard Tournament, in which all teams, even the teams that got relegated in the first stage of the promotion, can participate again.
