Today's [[EU_LCS_Changes_-_Tyler1_Championship_Series|shocking announcement]] by Riot Games that the EU LCS was able to sustain more than one concurrent viewer left all of us here at the site formerly known as Leaguepedia shocked. How could anyone other than Deficio possibly watch the EU LCS? That said, we have always believed in what's best for esports, and what's best for esports in this case is clearly the influence of Tyler1.

Tyler1pedia Press Release - Tyler1pedia

APR 1, 2018 12:02AM – BY FOWLER AND RIVER

Today's shocking announcement by Riot Games that the EU LCS was able to sustain more than one concurrent viewer left all of us here at the site formerly known as Leaguepedia shocked. How could anyone other than Deficio possibly watch the EU LCS? That said, we have always believed in what's best for esports, and what's best for esports in this case is clearly the influence of Tyler1.

Our first glimpse of the future of esports was the Tyler1 Championship Series 2017 Fall finals - we all witnessed a broadcast with a production value higher than we could ever dream of seeing in our relatively recently humble industry. This immersive experience saw unforgettable moments etched into our minds - Voyboy's MVP-earning inting will stay with many of us for the rest of our days. We all knew the day

From this date forth, we will be restricting our coverage to only those leagues that acknowledge Tyler1. We have also renamed ourselves accordingly. We feel that this is the best decision for ourselves, the staff of Tyler1pedia, and also you, our loyal readers, who I’m sure will support our choice.
