Biography[]
Thomas "Thinkcard" Slotkin lived in New York City for most of his life. He has been playing League of Legends for a long time but he did not take the game seriously and start playing a lot of ranked on the NA server until mid season 3 (2013). Thinkcard moved to California in February 2014 to pursue his professional career in League of Legends. Prior to going pro in League of Legends, he was a student at Cornell University majoring in Biological Sciences with the intention of becoming a doctor.
2014 Season[]
In February 2014, Thinkcard was top 5 in NA challenger solo queue when he got invited to join GamesterGear which is when he made the move to California to play with the team. However, he left the team in August 2014. Thinkcard made his first appearance in the LCS during the 2014 NA LCS Spring Split, in the 9th week, when Evil Geniuses.NA asked him to substitute for them in the jungle role along with ROBERTxLEE and Ken in the ADC and support roles due to players of the main roster, Snoopeh, Yellowpete and Krepo, having visa issues. At the time, he was known for his Lee Sin and Elise in the jungle. During the 2014 NA LCS Summer Split Super Week (11th and last week), Thinkcard was asked to substitute in for Counter Logic Gaming along with Nien, HotshotGG, Chaox, and Baby, creating a full substitute squad for CLG while the main roster boot-camps in Korea to prepare for the 2014 NA LCS Summer Playoffs and so their top laner, Seraph, can resolve his visa issues.[24]
2015 Preseason[]
With teammates Flaresz, Yusui, WizFujiiN (now known as Apollo), and KEITHMCBRIEF on Team LoLPro, Thinkcard qualified for the 2015 NA LCS Spring Expansion Tournament via the ranked 5's challenger ladder. The team beat Team Fission in the first round 2-0 but then lost 0-2 to Team Coast in the second round and were eliminated from the tournament. Thinkcard left the team in December 2014 after they disbanded.
2015 Season[]
Thinkcard substituted for Counter Logic Gaming during IEM Cologne due to Xmithie, their starting jungler, having visa issues. The team beat ROCCAT in the semifinals before losing to Gambit Gaming in the finals. Later, he joined CLG's challenger team, Counter Logic Gaming Black as their starting jungler. After qualifying for the 2015 NACS Spring Season, the team placed 6th and last in the season, after losing a tiebreaker game to TSM Darkness. CLG Black retained their 2015 NACS Summer Season Qualifier seed from having participated in the 2015 NACS Spring Season, receiving a first-round bye. However, after defeating Maelstrom, they lost to Cloud9 Tempest and then to Magnetic, missing out on the 2015 NACS Summer Season.
2016 Season[]
In January 2016, Thinkcard joined Enemy as a coach and jungle substitute.
