On April 17, it was announced that the playoffs were cancelled due a violation of Riot rules. Due to players participating in top-level European tournaments at the same time, two out of the four teams had illegal lineups during the season and were therefore prevented from completing the season. A third team has withdrawn in solidarity with these teams.[1]
