The article as written falsely states that LMQ was a North American team. According the authority on the subject at the time, LMQ was a Chinese team, and consensus opinion at the time and common sense dictate that a fully Chinese team is a Chinese team. As it stands, the article gives the misleading impression that LMQ represented NA -- when of course they did not. --Bidderskins

LMQ played in the North American LCS, making it a North American team at that time, regardless of its ownership. You wouldn't classify Misfits as a North American team despite its North American ownership, because it plays in Europe. Les Belettes (talk) 04:42, 16 January 2020 (UTC)
Misfits has only ever played in EU, is completely European in management, and their players have always been majority European. LMQ was always unambiguously a 100% Chinese team. Saying otherwise directly contradicts the authoritative sources, general consensus, and common sense at the time. This is important because LMQ was the precipitating event that caused Riot to implement global Residency Requirements with the explicit goal of preserving regional identity. Incorrectly referring to LMQ as a North American team obfuscates the history around this important event in the development of League of Legends esports and has the potential to misinform people who are newer to the scene. --Bidderskins (talk) 17:08, 16 January 2020 (UTC)
