In past iterations of the TCL Winter Qualifiers, the winner would have advanced to the TCL Winter Season while eliminated teams would play in the TCS Winter Season. However, with the franchising of the TCL in 2019, the winner of the qualifier was not guaranteed a spot in the TCL 2019 Winter Season.

- 7th place from the TCL Summer Season plays 2nd place from the TCS Summer Playoffs
- Loser plays against 3rd place from TCS Summer Playoffs
- Winner of Round 1 starts with a 1-0 advantage if they play the same opponent they beat in Round 1
- Matches are best of five
