Biography[]

A native of Winter Springs, Florida, just north of Orlando, Sneaky played World of WarCraft competitively achieving highest rated Mage Rogue in 2v2's sometime in Season 6. He also played a lot of HoN, along with playing DOTA on the side. Prior to LoL, He was studying Computer Science for a year at Florida Atlantic University before entering the NA LCS.

He began playing League of Legends back in Beta after he received a Beta invite. However, his initial reaction was that the game sucked. This was because in his first game he had no map at all and could only see the champions, towers, and minions. He didn't get into LoL until a few months later when he became bored of Heroes of Newearth. GangplankSquareGangplank was his first played champion, but he believes VeigarSquareVeigar was his first main. Sneaky's competitive LoL career was kicked started when he was first asked to join a team with jpak after being noticed in Solo Queue. He joined Absolute Legends North America along with jpak in hopes of gaining some competitive experience as well as having fun playing in tournaments. After the team broke up, he created a new team with Kenikth, Onionbagel, Kevin, and Support Daddy under Pulse eSports. But after losing qualifiers at MLG and IPL and several roster changes, he began to lose confidence in his teams ability to qualify for the summer promotion tournament. Sneaky joined Quantic Gaming on April 6, 2013 and proceeded to qualify for the 2013 NA LCS Summer Split and subsequently joined Cloud 9 when C9 re-acquired the Quantic roster ahead of their LCS debut.

Outside of League of Legends, Sneaky enjoys playing video games, along with watching good T.V. shows, such as Dexter, The Walking Dead and Breaking Bad. He has spoken about coaching or returning to school at the end of his career as a League pro gamer.

2015 Preseason[]

Cloud 9 was the North American team fan-voted to IEM San Jose.[15] They defeated paiN Gaming 2-0, Alliance 2-1, and then Unicorns of Love 3-0 to win the tournament. Sneaky capped off the finals against UOL with a game-winning pentakill on CorkiSquareCorki.

2015 Season[]

Due to their IEM San Jose victory, Cloud9 qualified for IEM Katowice in March. They lost their only two games, first to GE Tigers and then to yoe Flash Wolves, and finished in 7th/8th place. Domestically, they underperformed at the start of the season, and were in 8th place at the end of the second week of the spring LCS split. However, they improved over the course of the season, ending with a second-place finish behind Team SoloMid and a playoff bye; after beating Team Liquid 3-2, Cloud9 lost to TSM 1-3 in the finals and finished the split overall in second place.

Cloud9 replaced mid laner Hai with Incarnati0n at the start of the Summer Split due to Hai's retirement. They performed poorly for the first five weeks of the split and replaced Meteos with Hai going into the sixth week. With Hai back on the team, Cloud9's record improved from 3-7 to 6-12 by the end of the split, and they finished in 7th place after a tie-breaker victory against Team 8, narrowly avoiding relegations and retaining their Championship Points, though they did not qualify for playoffs. In the Regional Finals Gauntlet, Cloud9 reverse-swept both Gravity Gaming and Team Impulse before beating Team Liquid 3-1 in the finals. Their fourteen games played over the course of three days gave them North America's third seed to the 2015 Season World Championship, Cloud9's third-consecutive Worlds. Notably, Sneaky played Vayne in four games (3-1) and Draven twice (2-0), and had a 10.09 KDA across Cloud9's victories; he also received the MVP title for the final series of the gauntlet.

Considered an underdog at Worlds, Cloud9 were placed into Group B along with Fnatic, ahq, and Invictus Gaming and expected to place last. Instead, they surprised with an undefeated 3-0 first week. In the second week, Cloud9 needed only one win to advance to the quarterfinals but were unable to find it, losing four games in a row including a tiebreaker loss to ahq. They placed third in their group, ahead of only Invictus Gaming.

2016 Season[]

For the 2016 season, Cloud9 added two new players - Rush and Bunny FuFuu - and moved Hai to support, with the intention of splitting time with Bunny. However, after two losses with Bunny and two wins with Hai in the spring split, they committed to starting Hai fulltime and rose to a 67% winrate, with a third-place seed in the playoffs. However, despite a seeding advantage, the team lost to TSM in the first round and were eliminated. After the end of the split, Cloud9 recreated its Challenger team and shuffled rosters between the two teams, initially setting up for the summer split with Impact, Meteos, Jensen, Sneaky, and Bunny FuFuu as its LCS roster; former Team Dragon Knights support Smoothie later also joined the team.[16][17]

For the first seven weeks of the split, Bunny FuFuu and Smoothie shared the support role, but after that point Bunny stepped down to a substitute and streaming role, and Smoothie became the full-time starter.[18] The team equaled its spring record with a 12-6 finish, again securing the third seed into the playoffs. There, Cloud9 defeated Team EnVyUs and Immortals before falling to TSM 3-1 in the finals; their second-place result was their best placement since Spring 2015. In the Regional Finals, or the gauntlet, Cloud9 faced and defeated both EnVyUs and Immortals to qualify for the World Championship for the fourth consecutive year.

At Worlds, C9 was put in Group along with SK Telecom T1, I May and Flash Wolves. Despite not being expected by many to make it out of the group, C9 finished 2nd in the group. Their Worlds run was cut short though after they lost 0-3 to Samsung Galaxy in the Quarterfinals.

2017 Season[]

The 2017 Spring Season of the NA LCS started off hot for C9. The team was dominant and in 1st place throughout most of the split. However their performance took a dip later on and they finished 2nd with a 14-4 record right behind TSM. In the playoffs it was a similar story as Cloud9 made it to the finals but lost 2-3 to Team SoloMid in a very close series. In the Summer Season with increased competition, Cloud9 struggled more than before and finished the regular split in 4th place. Their performance in the playoffs was very lackluster and their run was cut short with a 1-3 loss to Team Dignitas in the Quarterfinals. Going into the Regional Qualifiers, the team managed to qualify for the 2017 Season World Championship with a 3-1 win over CLG.

At Worlds C9 finished first in their Play-In group with a 4-0 record and then defeated Lyon Gaming 3-0 to advance to the Main Event. Put in Group A along with SK Telecom T1, EDward Gaming and ahq e-Sports Club, C9 managed a 3-3 record and made it out of the group in second place. Their Worlds run was put to a halt however after they lost 2-3 to Team WE in a very close match.

2018 Season[]

For the 2018 Season, Cloud9 added Licorice and Svenskeren to their LCS Roster. Things went well in the beginning of 2018 Spring Season for C9. They were in second place for most of the season, however, on the final day of LCS, C9 fell to fifth place. They played Team Liquid in the Spring Quarterfinals and lost 0-3.

C9 started 2018 Summer Season by promoting Goldenglue, Keith, and Zeyzal to the LCS roster. By Week 5 C9 were in tenth place. After bringing back Jensen and Sneaky to the main roster as well as subbing in Blaber for the rest of the summer season, Cloud9 surged and made it to second place and secured a playoff bye by the end of the regular season. In the playoffs, Cloud9 defeated Team SoloMid 3-2 in the Semifinals and lost 0-3 to Team Liquid in the Finals. They moved onto the Regional Qualifier and won 3-0 over TSM to make worlds.

At the 2018 World Championship, Cloud9 once again had to make it through the Play-In stage. They went 4-0 in the Play-In group stage, and beat Gambit Esports 3-2 to advance to the Main Event. Cloud 9 were seeded into Group B, dubbed the "Group of Death", with Team Vitality, Royal Never Give Up, and Gen.G. Cloud9 defied expectations and made it out of the group in second place with a 4-3 record after losing the first place tiebreaker to RNG.

In the Quarterfinals, C9 made history and defeated Afreeca Freecs 3-0, making it the first time since the Season One World Championship that a North American team had made semifinals. In the Semifinals, C9 lost 0-3 to Fnatic.

2019 Season[]

During the 2019 season, Sneaky remained on Cloud9 after they replaced Jensen with Nisqy. He had an excellent spring split where he helped his team finish the regular season with the same record as the first place Team Liquid -- only losing out on the first seed due to Cloud9's 0-2 head-to-head record against TL. For his performance throughout the season, Sneaky was awarded a spot on the 2nd LCS All-Pro Team. Their success would not continue in the playoffs, as they were reverse swept by Team SoloMid in the semi-finals.

In the Summer split, Cloud9 replicated much of their success and again finished in second seed -- this time thanks to winning a tiebreaker against Counter Logic Gaming on the last day of the season. After beating CLG again in the semi-finals, they fell short against TL in a close 5 game final.

From their performance throughout the season, C9 qualified for Worlds as NA's second seed. This was a record 7th consecutive Worlds appearance for Sneaky with C9. At Worlds, Sneaky and C9 faltered in the group stage and failed to qualify for quarterfinals for only the 2nd time in the LCS era. In the off-season Cloud9 announced that Zven would replace Sneaky as the starting ADC for Cloud9. Sneaky left as the longest-tenured member of C9 and the longest-tenured player with a single organization in LCS history.

Sneaky remained with Cloud9 as a streamer and part-owner. He didn't officially retire and was rumored to be returning to pro play in both the 2019 and 2020 off-seasons, but didn't end up joining any teams.
