Biography
2017 Season
Shady, who had been playing for Robert Morris University, was picked up by LCS team Phoenix1 before the start of Week 7 of the NA LCS 2017 Spring Split, along with fellow support Stunt. However, Shady did not appear in a game until Week 9, when he started against top teams TSM and Cloud9. Phoenix1 lost all three games he played in but had already qualified for playoffs and finished third with an 11-7 record.
In the playoffs, Stunt started all three games in a quarterfinal sweep of Dignitas, but Shady was tapped to start in the semifinals against Cloud9. Although Phoenix1 lost that series 3-0, Shady started all five games in the third-place match against Flyquest, in which P1 prevailed 3-2 after going down 2-1 to start the series.
Shady was rewarded for his playoff performance by being named Phoenix1's starting support for the summer season. However, the team failed to win any of their first five series, leading the team to acquire veteran support Xpecial. Shady remained with P1 for the rest of 2017 but didn't play in another game.
2018 Season
After Phoenix1 was not accepted into the newly franchised NA LCS, Shady left the team and joined the newly formed TSM Academy. TSM Academy hovered around the .500 mark for most of the spring academy split, but ended up 8-10 and in sixth place. This left them outside of playoffs, as only the top four teams qualified in that split's format.
Shady remained with TSM Academy for the academy summer split. The team got off to a 2-7 start, and although they did improve over the second half, only managed a 7-11 final record, which left them in seventh place and outside of playoffs. Shady left the team in December.
2019 Season
Shady, now playing for Maryville University, qualified for the 2019 NA Scouting Grounds through the solo queue ladder. He played for Team Mountain Drake at the event, but was not drafted or signed by any LCS teams afterward.
