Alex "Kazehaya" Hirst is a retired League of Legends esports player, previously coach for Hybrid Esports.

Biography[]

2016 Season[]

Kazehaya did a bit of work as an assistant for a few different teams in the UK region slowly learning coaching techniques and gathering experience along the way before making his coaching debut later on in his career. Kazehaya also spent this time working 1 on 1 with players to help learn how to perfect the laning phase on a competitive level adding to the macro techniques he had spent time learning and perfecting.

2017 Season[]

Kazehaya landed his first permanent gig as an assistant coach to Xaio at PAM eSports after a couple months Xaio was signed to Neverback Gaming and Kazehaya was offered the Head Coach role for PAM eSports. After a great start to the season seeing PAM eSports lead the table in Segunda Division there was a rule change meaning the PAM eSports roster would have to split leaving Kazehaya with a difficult choice of follow the team or his players.

Kazehaya joined his players for PAM eSports with 1 change to the roster in competing in the Ragnarok Season 3 tournament which saw the team Polite and Mature come out victorious coached by Kazehaya, in a few short months Kazehaya had gone from assistant coach to coaching one of the 12 teams that had qualified for the Challenger Series qualifiers. After a couple roster changes bringing in Xani and SRH and forming the brand new org Wind and Rain around the team Kazehaya and his players pulled of a major shock result in managing to best Red Bull in the group stage and beating Tricked out to claim the Challenger Series spot.

After such success the roster was bought by Origen for there challenger series team but they had there own coach in place. Kazehaya was left at Wind and Rain to construct a brand new roster. After the roster was constructed Wind and Rain decided to bring in a more experienced Coach in Tabasko and Kazehaya was offered a managerial role. Kazehaya stayed with the team for the first few games but was offered a job from Turkey to work with Besiktas and the new roster they had constructed.

Kazehaya left to work with Besiktas who managed a respectable 2nd finish but after the crazy year of going from first assistant job to Challenger Series and TCL Kazehaya decidede a break from esports was what was best.

2020 Season[]

Kazehaya made his return with his close friends team in the UK Lions Creed just to get himself up to speed again on the meta and re-applying his built up coaching techniques unfortunately Kazehaya was unable to qualify for the UKLC and the team disbanded leaving Kazehaya without at team on his return.

Kazehaya was picked up by Hybrid Esports in TES Sweden where the currently sit first in the league with a great start to the split lead by Kazehaya as the teams coach.
