Biography
Robo played for INTZ Red during some tournaments of the 2015 Brazilian Challenger Circuit Split 1 (often changing places with Caos) and the 2015 CBLOL Split 2 Promotion. Due to his studies, Robo couldn't completely focus on CBLOL, so the team chose Caos as the starting top laner for the 2015 CBLOL Split 2 and allowed Robo to play for a Challenger Circuit team. In June he joined JAYOB e-Sports as AD carry, playing at the BRMA Rio 2015 and the Go4LoL Monthly Final - May 2015. He was called back by INTZ Red to play at Week 5 of CBLOL Split 2, becoming ineligible to play for a Challenger Circuit team and leaving JAYOB in the process.
Trivia
General Trivia
- Originally a top laner, joined JAYOB e-Sports as AD carry.
- Portrayed as
Ekko in the CBLoL 2015 official wallpaper.
- His favourite Champions are
Tristana,
Darius and
Camille.
- Became famous during MSI 2021 for a campaign in Brazil with the hashtag "RobsDay" that became a worldwide trending topic on Twitter being reproduced by several people including a famous priest in Brazil.[37]
- After a good MSI 2021, he and his teammate tinowns allegedly received offers from LEC teams and its sisters teams, but negotiations didn't go through. Since then, it became a joke in the Brazilian community, with them sometimes being called "LEC players".
- Got featured with his "É o Robs" photo in a graffiti in the Worlds 2021 theme music video, Burn it All Down. [38]
- His KR ID refers to a microwave, as do the Ceos and Tinowns IDs refer to other home appliances.
- He spoke in Baiano's Depois do Crime that he has won every split since 2022 against Wizer because he knows how to read every move he makes and uses that to predict Cariok's moves.[39]
- Known in Brazil for the phrase "É o Robs! IRIRIRIRI!". He say it when he makes a good play or for celebrating a victory. The word "Robs" makes refearance to his nickname, Robo. This turned to a Brazilian gag.
- He said in a interview that the fact that paiN Gaming won a game despite losing the series against LOUD by 3-1 in the CBLOL 2023 Split 2 Playoffs Finals was due to him being unfocused with the fact there would be a show of the Brazilian rapper Matuê after the series.[40]
Notable Achievements
- Since the start of his career in the CBLOL 2015, he almost always qualify for playoffs (with the sole exception being the first split of 2022 when he did not qualify for playoffs), with a total of 16 playoffs and 9 finals played.
- He is the player with the most titles in CBLOL history, surpassing even brTT with seven domestic titles as of CBLOL 2024 Split 1.
