The Riot World Invitational was a special event hosted by Riot Games that took place in Las Vegas, Nevada. Five professional players were invited to play against a team of five Riot employees. The matches were played and recorded in May, being later broadcast on June 1. The matches were commentated by Phreak and Rivington.
Format[]
World Team and Team Riot played each other in a best of three, standard five versus five with three bans per team.
