Biography[]
2014 Season[]
Kim "Procxin" Se-young joined MKZ in May of 2014 as their jungler. He competed with the team at HOT6iX Champions Summer 2014 where they lost all their games and placed last in their group. The entirety of MKZ was picked up by Xenics Storm immediately after the tournament.
2015 Season[]
The Xenics Storm roster left the organization to reform MKZ in March of 2015 without playing a single major tournament. Procxin's only tournament with this team was Challengers Korea Spring 2015 Series 2 where they made it to the playoffs but were knocked out in third place with 3-0 losses to Xenics and Winners. Procxin left the team in June to join DetonatioN FocusMe in Japan as a substitute. He played two games for them in LJL 2015 Season 2 before leaving the team only a week after he joined.
2016 Season[]
Procxin joined Team Impulse in January 2016, as part of a rebuilt roster that included himself, Feng, Pirean, Mash, and Gate. Facing visa problems for the first few weeks of the Spring Season, their roster was unstable until week 4. After some early success with their substitute rosters, especially with Seraph in top lane, TIP ended the season in 9th place, losing a 5-13 record tiebreaker to Renegades based on their head-to-head matchup.
In the Promotion Tournament, Team Impulse requalified for the Summer Season with a 3-1 win over the Challenger team Apex Gaming; however, on May 8 they were faced with a competitive ruling banning them from continued participation in the LCS due to not paying their players on time and also not having proper contracts in place with players. The team was also fined $20,000 by Riot.[10]
Procxin left Team Impulse and joined Team EnVyUs, which had acquired their seed from Renegades, the other LCS team banned at the same time as Team Impulse. Fueled by strong practice going into the season, EnVyUs started out 4-0 in series records after two weeks, sharing first place with Team SoloMid. However, in the weeks that followed, they slipped down the standings all the way to sixth place, where they sat from week 6 through the end of week 9. With the bottom seed into the playoffs, EnVyUs faced Cloud9 in the quarterfinals where they pulled out a game 1 comeback win before losing the next three to be eliminated. They ended the season with 20 championship points. In the Regional Finals, EnVyUs defeated Team Liquid's new roster with Arcsecond jungling but then lost to Cloud9, who went on to win the gauntlet.
Trivia[]
- Joined the South Korean army after leaving Team EnVyUs.[11]
