Biography[]
Peter joined LMQ in early 2014. He worked with the team until the ownership dispute resulted in him stepping down, he then joined Team Curse as their head coach shortly later. Through 2014 to 2018, Peter worked with a few different teams, including the rebranded Team Liquid, KaBuM! e-Sports and Echo Fox before settling down at TSM in November 2018. In November 2020, he was also given the new role of Head of Player Development.
In March 2022, TSM fired Peter after the organization was made aware of “very serious allegations of conflict of interest and unethical practices” with the announcement of his termination and that a full investigation would be launched internally. The investigation claimed that it has been confirmed that Peter diverted player salaries and withheld owed money amounting to over $300,000. The investigation also claimed that Peter was also borrowing significant sums of money from many players under the TSM organization, from both the main and academy roster. Peter also admitted he owed former SwordArt $35,000 for selling his car for $80,000. Two days after the termination, Peter returned to China and posted a Twitlonger. In his Twitlonger, he denied diverted player salaries from Keaiduo, Shenyi and SwordArt. In regards to remaining $45,000 he owed Swordart, he stated that medical issues affecting his grandmother affected his ability to pay SwordArt with the original funds as some of them had gone to medical bills. Peter closed out the Twitlonger stating that TSM no longer felt the same to him,as the departure of key organizational figures had resulted in unfair player blame.
On August 8, 2022, Riot issued a competitive ruling towards Peter. He is permanently banned from any association or affiliation with a team or organization in a Riot-sanctioned competition for engaging in what Riot believe to be alarming and unethical behavior towards current and former TSM players and staff.
