Unlike Championship Points, Promotion Points are a bad thing, and teams get more by placing lower in the standings.

Format

  • The last place team of Split 2 will automatically drop down to the 2019 OPL Split 1 Promotion.
  • The team that has accrued the most promotion points throughout the 2018 Season will also drop down to the Promotion tournament.

Promotion Points Tiebreaker

In the event that multiple teams finish on the same amount of Promotion Points, the team that finished lower on the ladder in Split 2 will finish lower in the standings.
