North Carolina State University is a collegiate team from NC State in Raleigh, North Carolina. The team formerly competed under the names "NCSU Team Alpha" and "NCSU Prime", and now goes by Varsity at NC State.
History[]
This iteration of the team was formed in August 2015 when mid laner Flamejin started recruiting others to form a collegiate League team. As a result, a roster of mostly freshman rose up to defeat the existing LoL team at the time, and is now in its fourth year of amateur and collegiate scene competition. The first roster was composed of Whoppers, Pluckin Penguin, Flamejin, ShadowVisions, and Unreall1.
For competition results, Whoppers = R Giskard and riftdog = Barcode.

- August (approx.), Wolfskullrider starts top lane over Whoppers. Cyn joins as head coach and Loki joins as sport psychologist. Crippled Old Man leaves.
- November (approx.), Dr Beat joins as bot lane.
- August (approx.), Wolfskullrider joins as top lane, replacing Whoppers.
- August (approx.), Whoppers, Pluckin Penguin, Flamejin, ShadowVisions, and Unreall1 join.
- November (approx.), Crippled Old Man joins as head coach.
- December (approx.), Flamejin swaps to bot lane, ShadowVisions swaps to mid lane.
