Biography[]
Nickwu is from Arcadia, California. Before becoming a professional gamer, Nickwu worked at a PC Cafe in Arcadia called Dream Lab with his brother, ClakeyD. He began playing League of Legends during the game's beta release as a result of becoming bored of Heroes of Newerth. During MLG Anaheim, Nickwu played with Team MRN, marking his first experience in competitive gaming.
After subbing for The Brunch Club, Lautemortis asked Nickwu to join the team due to their synergy. The Brunch Club qualified for the NA LCS 2013 Spring and was acquired by compLexity Gaming. In the inaugural NA LCS split, compLexity struggled, ultimately finishing in last place. The team then lost to Quantic Gaming (later Cloud9) during the NA LCS 2013 Summer Promotion, becoming the first team to be relegated from the NA LCS. Nickwu left compLexity after the tournament and became a substitute for Team Vulcun (later XDG Gaming). He briefly played jungle for the team in the NA LCS 2014 Spring after BloodWater's departure, but did not win any games. After XDG disbanded, Nickwu quietly retired from professional play.
