Overview

The Riot Season 3 Championship Series was the first season of North America's fully professional League of Legends league. Eight teams competed in a round robin group stage, with the top teams continuing on to the offline playoffs. They took place at PAX 2013.

Format

  • Top 6 teams of the Summer Season attend
  • Grand Finals are best of five, all other matches are best of three
  • Top 3 teams get a seed at the Season 3 World Championship (First place gets a group stage bye due to North American All-Star performance).
