- 3rd/4th placed from NACS Spring Playoffs
- Two from NACS Summer Qualifiers
Bo2 Round Robin
- 3 points for a win
- 1 point for a draw
Top four teams advance to Playoffs based on points total.

NA Challenger Series 2016 Summer Official Rulebook

Player Transfer from LCS[]

NA LCS teams and NACS teams may freely loan players to each other (as long as it's an inter-league loan) in order to give LCS substitutes a chance to be active in the Challenger Series while still being called to play in the LCS on occasion. There is no time limit constraining when a player may play in each league; for example, a player may play in NACS for two consecutive weeks and also the LCS in between. However, Riot retains the right to block a loan if it's against the spirit of the rule, for example one team owning two rosters but playing the same 5 players in every week of both leagues.
