Biography[]
Mylon played his first offline tournament in late 2011 when he was 14 years old. He started playing as a Jungler, but changed to Top Lane when he joined VTi Ignis in April 2012.
2012 Season[]
With vTi Ignis, Mylon won his first event, the Riot Season 2 Brazilian Championship. After a month, he left to Keyd Team (which later rebranded to Keyd Stars).
Season 3[]
Keyd started the season with a promising line-up, but ended up placing 5-8th at the Riot Season 3 Brazilian Championship and 7-8th at IEM Sao Paulo. Their only title was the Brasil Gaming League Arena 2, where they beat CNB e-Sports Club in the finals.
2014 Season[]
Keyd Team rebranded to Keyd Stars and brought in Koreans SuNo and Winged. They won 7 tournaments in a row, including the Riot Brazilian Champion League 2014. They bootcamped in Portugal for three weeks to practice for 2014 Season Brazil Regional Finals, so they came as favorite to the event, but ended up losing to eventual champions KaBuM! e-Sports, finishing 3-4th. After the Koreans' departure, Mylon played in the 1v1 tournament RedBull Player One, beating his teammate takeshi in the finals.[11]
2015 Season[]
Keyd Stars acquired DayDream and Emperor from CJ Entus Blaze. They started the split strong, but lost in finals to INTZ e-Sports. Mylon then decided to leave to paiN Gaming. He debuted at XMA Mega Arena 2015 – São Paulo, where they got second place. Heading into the second split, everyone had high hopes for the team, and despite a shaky start, they won the second split's playoffs, defeating INTZ Red, Keyd Stars and INTZ Team. They qualified for the IWC Qualifier, and without dropping a single game the entire tournament qualified for the 2015 Season World Championship.
At Worlds, paiN were seeded into Group A along with Flash Wolves, KOO Tigers, and Counter Logic Gaming. They picked up two wins in the group, against eventual group winners Flash Wolves in the first week and then against CLG in the second week, and their 2-4 overall record and 1-1 head-to-head with CLG left them tied for third place, not advancing from groups. Despite their immediate elimination, paiN's group stage run was seen as a major success: they were the first Wildcard team to win more than one game at a World Championship and also the first Wildcard team to finish higher than sole possession of last place in their group. Additionally, they looked good in some of their losses: their second game against Flash Wolves lasted 52 minutes and could have gone either way at multiple points.
Trivia[]
- Is a fan of Darien's playstyle.
- Favorite animal is the platypus.
- A fan created the religion "Mylonism", to pray and worship their god, Mylon.
- Known for his Nidalee, Renekton, Shen, Vladimir, and Rumble.
- Highly praised as one of the best toplaners in Brazil's history.
- Famous for openly trashtalking other players, especially toplaners.
- Portrayed as Hecarim in the CBLoL 2015 official wallpaper.
- When he joined PaiN Gaming, most of its fans openly criticized his signing, arguing he was arrogant and, along with BrTT (whom he allegedly had problems with in Keyd Stars), had too much ego, contrasting with the friendly atmosphere paiN was famous to possess. Nonetheless, they went on to win CBLOL/2015 Season/Split 2 Playoffs and reach 2015 Season World Championship, managing to make the best run a Brazilian team ever had at international stage. He then became a fan favorite not only for PaiN Gaming fans, but to all the Brazilian scene.
- Even though he was considered one of the best, if not the best Gnar in Brazil, he hated playing with the champion.[12]
- At one match, he didn't want to play Maokai because he thought it was a bad champion, but was forced to by his coach at the time, MiT. He went to grudgingly play and die several times, to then, in the middle of the game, say "See how bad the champion is?".[13]
- After he retired in 2017, he came back to his parents' house in his hometown, Santos, and got in law school.[14]
- In 2020, he return to LoL-related activities and became a guest analyst in Riot Brazil's talkshow Depois do Nexus, where he quickly was acclaimed for his direct and accurate analysis and banter while talking about the teams.[15]
