Biography[]
Moopz is a professional League of Legends player hailing from Sart Messire Guillaume, five kilometres away from Louvain-La-Neuve, Belgium. He first played MMORPGs, such as Dark Age of Camelot. Growing bored of that game genre, he briefly played Defense of the Ancients, then followed his real-life friends into League of Legends.
Moopz enjoyed playing the game from the get-go. The low mechanical skill floor compared to DOTA and the cartoon-like graphics appealed to him. The first champions he spammed games with were Annie and Poppy. As he reached level 30, he transitioned into Sion and Morgana, which carried him to Season 1's Rank 1 and netted him a place in Team Sypher. To him, the primary difference between soloqueue and tournament play lies in communication and the desire to win, as those two take precedence over the more relaxed solo-queue environment.
2015 Season[]
Going into the last week of the Summer Split, Gambit Gaming's FORG1VEN received a four-game-long penalty from Riot as the result of toxic behavior in soloqueue.[29] Moopz subbed in as the team's AD carry for the last 2 games of the split. Losing these 2 games, the team finished the regular season in 8th place, meaning that they would be playing in the 2016 Spring Promotion.
