Miners, previously known as Netshoes Miners and E-Flix eSports, is a Brazilian esports organization.
History
Created in 2015 as E-SportFlix, the organization specialized in managing players and teams, such as Netshoes Esports (NSE) and the Brazilian national team for virtual soccer, the e-Seleção.
In 2019, E-Flix partnered with sports club Cruzeiro EC to launch Cruzeiro eSports, participating in FIFA, PES, and Free Fire, and in October 2020 Cruzeiro was announced as one of the franchised teams for CBLOL 2021 Split 1.
However, after the team's participation in the split, in March 2021, E-Flix announced the end of the partnership with Cruzeiro, while keeping the spots in both CBLOL and LBFF (the Brazilian Free Fire league) and the contracts of the players.
In May 2021, the organization was rebranded as Miners.GG, referencing the state of Minas Gerais, where the organization is based, and following a new partnership with sports store Netshoes, the team would be competing as Netshoes Miners. Following the acquisition of the KaBuM! store and KaBuM! e-Sports by Netshoes' parent company, the team was forced to drop the Netshoes sponsorship, renaming to Miners officially in June 2022.
They left CBLOL in November 2022 after Vivo Keyd Stars bought their spot in the CBLOL.
