Biography
Mimer is a high elo player hailing from Stockholm, Sweden. He was first exposed to gaming at the age of five, playing an arcade shooter belonging to the Raiden series, on Mac. He then moved on to playing World of Warcraft in the vanilla days, Defense of the Ancients since launch, and StarCraft II.
While waiting for DotA 2's release, a friend introduced him to League of Legends during the beta days, and he took a liking to it. The Swedish player reached Gold in Season 1 and climbed the ranks until he reached the top of Solo Queue in Season 2. Several teams noticed his performance, and he has been part of the competitive LoL scene ever since.
Season 3
Mimer's first spell in the competitive scene was with Team Property, though he left the team just a month later. He then moved on to join Eternity Gaming, where he played alongside Airwaks. His only tournament with the team was Gfinity London 2013, a tournament that turned out to be a huge success for Eternity. Mimer and the team managed a 2nd place finish, losing only to a strong Copenhagen Wolves roster in the final.
Mimer left the team after the tournament, going on to join Ninjas in Pyjamas in time to play in the last 3 weeks of the Summer Split. Mimer's impressive
Shen helped the team to a 5th place finish, meaning that they had secured themselves a place in the Summer Playoffs. The playoffs were not a success for NiP, losing their quarterfinal match-up against Gambit Gaming and going on to lose to Team Alternate in the 5th place match, meaning the team would have to fight to stay in the LCS for the next split. Mimer was released by the team following the playoffs.
At the end of the season, Mimer joined newly formed SUPA HOT CREW. After winning the EUW Challenger Series - Week 16 Cup, he and the team went on to participate in the LCS Spring Promotion. SUPA HOT CREW finished 2nd in the challenger stage, and progressed on to the promotion stage. Mimer and the team thought that their LCS hopes were over after losing to SK Gaming in their promotion match-up, but after Lemondogs were removed from the Spring Split, the SUPA HOT CREW played a deciding match against MeetYourMakers to determine who would take their spot. Mimer and the team won the game, and the slot to play in the Spring Split.
2014 Season
The Spring Split was not a success for Mimer and the team, placing 7th overall. Their performance in the split meant that they would have to play in the Summer Promotion Tournament and fight for their spot in the Summer Split. Mimer and the rest of the SUPA HOT CREW beat Cloud 9 Eclipse in their promotion match, securing their place in the next split.
The Summer Split was a huge improvement on the previous split, with SUPA HOT CREW fininshing 3rd, behind Alliance and Fnatic. The whole team performed extremely well over the split, with Mimer excelling on
Shyvana in particular. The team's performance landed them a place in the Summer Playoffs. Mimer and SHC lost to Team ROCCAT in the quarterfinals, but winning their 5th place match against Millenium meant that they would be sure of their place in the 2015 Spring Split.
2015 Season
After securing themselves a place in the next split of the LCS, Mimer and the rest of the remaining SUPA HOT CREW roster was acquired by MeetYourMakers.
Mimer is currently set to participate in the Spring Split with the team.
