Biography[]
Michael "MiMo" Moreira was born in Ontario, Canada and currently lives in Victorville, California where he plays with Zenith eSports. He started playing video games around the age of four. Shortly after the release of Starcraft II, he transitioned to playing League of Legends. Active on community forums, he played on several smaller teams before he started playing competitively with Project Challenger near the end of Season 1.
Season 3[]
MiMo played with Project Challenger for the Season 3 LCS Ranked 5's Spring Qualifier and the Season 3 Ranked 5's Summer Qualifier.
2014 Season[]
In May 2014, MiMo left Project challenger to join Zenith eSports, which came in the 5/8th place bracket of the 2014 NA Challenger Summer Series 2. The team also won multiple Go4LoL tournaments and placed third in the Fall Black Monster Cup.
2015 Preseason[]
With Zenith, MiMo qualified for the Spring Expansion Tournament via the ranked 5's ladder. The team was eliminated in the first round, losing 1-2 to Final Five.
2015 Season[]
When NintendudeX had to take time off from playing with Team Fusion for health reasons, MiMo was their temporary replacement for the NACS.[2] After NintendudeX rejoined Fusion, MiMo had a brief stint on Dadslammers and then joined Storm. Storm renamed to Maelstrom Gaming for the qualifier, but after a first-round victory over Aware Gaming, MiMo sat out the second round while Piggy started in the jungle in place of him. Maelstrom lost to CLG Black in the second round and were eliminated; they later disbanded.
Trivia[]
- His first champion was Malzahar.
- His summoner name is derived from the first two letters of his first and last name.
