Biography[]
Hans Christian "Liq" Dürr is living in Berlin, Germany. Before entering the League of Legends scene, Liq managed the World of Warcraft PvE guilds Ensidia and For the Horde. In 2010, he co-founded the PvE website Manaflask together with the two guilds.
In 2015, Liq entered the professional League of Legends scene by joining Natus Vincere to build a European League of Legends team. Following Riot Games' announcement to open a new League for the CIS region - the LCL, Liq started to manage a second League of Legends team for Na`Vi with Natus Vincere.CIS.
After disbanding their European LoL team, Liq left Na`Vi and was announced as League of Legends General Manager for Splyce in May 2016.
In October 2017, Liq joined FC Schalke 04 as Head of Esports.
In May 2018, Liq was announced as Riot Games' Head of Esports for the DACH (Germany, Austria and Switzerland) region.[10]
In April 2020, after two years of being the Head of Esports for the DACH, Liq announced on Twitter that he would be switching to Head of Esports for the LCL, TCL and esports for the Middle East within Riot's organization.[11]
