Biography
Đỗ Levi Duy Khánh joined SkyRed as the starting midlaner, later swapping to be the jungler. SkyRed finished 5th in the domestic league. Despite failing to make the playoffs, Levi was hailed as the impetus behind his team’s success. Seen as a mechanically skilled jungler with a keen ability to bust the game open by hunting his opponent counterpart down, many considered him to be one of the best performing junglers that split. His performance earned him his spot on the Vietnamese All-Star team that went on to win in the GPL qualifier and then the IWCI All-Stars event.
Levi was then invited to the All-Star 2016 event. In the Quarter-Final 1v1 tournament, Levi was defeated by Uzi.
2017 Season
Levi joined GIGABYTE Marines on December 19, 2016. The GIGABYTE Marines then won 2017 Mountain Dew Championship Series Spring and GPL 2017 Spring with no loss match, qualifying them for the 2017 Mid-Season Invitational.
At MSI, the Marines ended the Play-In group stage at 1st place, with a 5-1 record, only dropping a game against LCL's representative, Virtus.pro. Advancing to the 2nd round, the team faced Team SoloMid and won the first 2 games of the series, before they were reverse swept, ending the match at 2-3. They then defeated SuperMassive eSports in the 3rd round (3-1) to make it to the Group Stage. Although the team failed to make it out of the Group Stage, they still managed to secure a Group Stage spot for the GPL region at the 2017 Season World Championship.
At Worlds, the Marines were placed in group B, alongside Longzhu Gaming, Fnatic, and Immortals. The Marines tied 2nd place with Fnatic and Immortals with a 2-4 record, forcing the three team to compete in a tiebreaker. The Marines advances as the highest seed in the tiebreaker due to shortest combined game victory time, however lost to Fnatic.
Levi was Invited to the All-Star 2017 1v1 tournament, Levi was defeated by Uzi again, this time in the First Round.
2018 Season
On December 26, 2017, Levi joined 100 Thieves Academy. The team placed 8th in the NA Academy 2018 Spring with a 7-11 record.
At Rift Rivals 2018 NA-EU, Levi substituted 100 Thieves' starting Jungler AnDa. 100 Thieves won only 1 game out of the 3 games they played. Levi also played in the AR URF Showmatch and the 2v2 Matches.
100 Thieves Academy placed 6th in the NA Academy 2018 Summer, barely making into playoffs. However the team lost to CLG Academy in the first round (2-3).
Levi was invited to join the VCS All-Star 2018 as a special guest alongside another Vietnamese jungler SofM.
2019 Season
Levi joined JD Gaming on December 14, 2018 and shared the starting position with Flawless However Levi was unsuccessful in integrating into the team only playing 4 games all of which were loses.
He returned to GAM Esports to play in the the VCS Summer Season, Levi played every game of the teams 1st place finish in the VCS Summer Season, including a game in the Bot lane. He also played in their undefeated Playoffs run against Lowkey Esports and Team Flash.Vietnam to secure a place in the 2019 Season World Championship Main Event
Levi was 2nd in voting for All-Star Las Vegas 2019 and was again eliminated by Uzi, this time in the semi-final of the 1v1 event.
2020 Season
Levi continued his strong performance in the VCS Spring Season and VCS Summer Season by finishing 1st place both times with GAM Esports. With a renewed playstyle, mostly focusing on AP based champions such as Shyvana,
Karthus and
Gragas his playstyle focussed on creating his own leads through the jungle gave success to the GAM Esports roster. Unfortunately however, they would lose Playoffs and Playoffs against Team Flash 2-3 both times.
Despite having qualified for 2020 Season World Championship, Levi could not attend with his team due to COVID-19 regulations as Vietnamese teams were not allowed to travel.
2021 Season
Levi remained on the GAM Esports squad alongside Kiaya and Easylove. At VCS Spring 2021 he beat Saigon Buffalo 3-1 to win the title.
Levi and GAM Esports won the domestic championship in the spring. However, the period 2020 – 2021 is 2 years when Vietnam cannot participate in international tournaments because of the effects of the Covid-19 pandemic.
2022 Season
In 2022, Levi and GAM will compete in two important campaigns, the SEA Games 31 qualifiers and VCS, to find a ticket to represent Vietnam to attend the Southeast Asian Games and MSI respectively. GAM won both tournaments, but they could only choose one because the Sea Games and MSI took place at the same time.
Without hesitation, Levi and his teammates chose to represent Vietnam to compete at the SEA Games, giving up the ticket to MSI to the VCS runner-up - Saigon Buffalo. This decision of Levi in particular and GAM in general received enthusiastic support from Vietnamese audiences.
At SEA Games 31, GAM won all 10 matches, from the group stage to the semi-finals, and finally the finals. All were devastating, overwhelming, and one-sided matches. GAM's strength was far superior to opponents like Malaysia and the Philippines; the key to victory was none other than captain Levi.
GAM's historic gold medal greatly contributed to the process of building the image of professional e-sports in Vietnam, dispelling social prejudices about online games, and Levi is the most important factor in that process.
2023 Season
VCS Spring & Summer 2023: GAM Esports continued their dominance, winning consecutive titles.
MSI 2023 & Worlds 2023: Despite participating in these prestigious events, GAM did not achieve notable rankings.
Asian Games 19: Levi, as part of the national team, reached the top 4, highlighting their competitive edge in Asia.
2024 Season
VCS Spring & Summer 2024: GAM Esports extended their winning streak, adding two more titles to Levi's record, making it a total of 10 VCS championships.
November 2024: Levi renewed his contract with GAM Esports, committing to the 2025 season and putting to rest speculations about his retirement.
