League The k4sen 2nd - Season: Trials of Twilight is the second season of the showmatch tournament “League The k4sen,” co-hosted by streamer k4sen and the Japanese esports organization ZETA DIVISION. This is an amateur showmatch tournament dedicated to streamers and KOLs within the Japanese League of Legends community.
Overview
Format
- 4 teams participate
- Each team consists of 2 rosters of different average rank
- Next division: Average rank is Silver
- Game rule: 2 champions can be chosen for ban protection, from which only 1 of the champions can be banned
- Core division: Average rank is Emerald
- Game rule: During Regular Stage, champions played in the preceding Next division match cannot be played again (Fearless Draft)
- Next division: Average rank is Silver
- Rosters from each division will only face each other, i.e. Next vs Next, Core vs Core
- Each team consists of 2 rosters of different average rank
- Regular Stage
- Double Round Robin
- Matches are best of one
- Each win grants 1 point
- If both divisions win their matches in the same day, 1 additional point is granted
- After Regular Stage Day 3, each team’s coach may select one of the three DARKIN powers to use:
- World Ender: If a team has a 0–3 record, the coach may request a roster change.
- The Call of the Pack: Grants 2 additional unlimited practice days.
- Piercing Arrow: Each team may protect one champion per match, effective only until the first pick phase in Core division matches.
- All 4 teams advance to playoffs

- Nemesis Match
- Occurs if the Upper Finals winner faces the Lower Finals loser again before Grand Finals.
- Best of one
- If the Upper Finals winner wins the Nemesis Match, they gain a 1-game advantage in Grand Finals.
- Grand Finals
- Best of five, fearless draft
- Upper Finals winner starts with 1 win if the advantage was earned through the Nemesis Match.
- All other matches are best of three, fearless draft
- Games in a match alternate between Core and Next division except for the Nemesis Match
- The higher seeded team can choose which division will play the decider game, except when the Grand Finals advantage is active
