The LCS 2026 Lock-In is the first split of the twelfth year of North America's professional League of Legends league, featuring a partnership and guest teams system. It's the first year after the dissolvement of the LTA.
Overview
Format
- Eight teams participate
- Swiss Stage
- Swiss-style format with three rounds
- Top 6 teams advance to Playoffs
- The top 4 seeds are the 3-0 team and the three 2-1 teams
- Between the three 1-2 teams, the team with the best game record advances as the 5th seed
- The remaining two 1-2 teams will play a last chance tiebreaker for the 6th seed
- All matches are best of three
- Playoffs
- The 3-0 and 2-1 teams start in the Upper Bracket, with the 3-0 team choosing their Round 1 opponent
- The advancing 1-2 teams start in the Lower Bracket
- All matches are best of five
- Winner qualifies for the 2026 First Stand
