The 2016 LCL Summer Playoffs were played between August 13 — 14th at VTB Ice Palace in Moscow to decide the CIS region's representative at 2016 International Wildcard Qualifier.[1]
Overview[]
The LoL Continental League (LCL) is the successor to the SLTV StarSeries, which was the Commonwealth of Independent States' premier league before Riot took over for the 2016 Season. Four teams qualify for playoffs based on their Summer Season performance.
Format[]
- 1st place team from Summer Season picks whether they would like to play the 3rd or 4th place team
- 2nd place team will play against the remaining team
- Playoff matches are best of five
- Champion qualifies for 2016 International Wildcard Qualifier
