The 2016 LCL Spring Playoffs began on 26 March and concluded on 3 April with the final at Druzhba Multipurpose Arena in Moscow to decide the CIS region's representative at 2016 International Wildcard Invitational.
Overview[]
The LoL Continental League (LCL) is the successor to the SLTV StarSeries, which was the Commonwealth of Independent States' premier league before Riot took over for the 2016 Season. Four teams qualify for playoffs based on their Spring Season performance.
Format[]
- 1st place team from Spring Season picks whether they would like to play the 3rd or 4th place team
- 2nd place team will play against the remaining team
- Playoff matches are best of five
- third-place match is best of three
