The LCK Cup 2026 is the kickoff tournament of the sixth year of Korea's professional League of Legends league under partnership.
Overview
Format
- 10 teams participate
- Matches use "Hard Fearless Draft", champions can only be picked once by either team during the series
Group Stage
- 2 groups of 5 teams
- Teams play against all teams from the opposite group once
- The group with more points will be named "Winners Group", while the other one will be the "Losers Group"
- Top two teams from the Winners Group and top team from the Losers Group advance to Playoffs
- Bottom three teams from the Winners Group and 2nd to 4th place teams from the Losers Group advance to Play-In
- Bottom team from the Losers Group is eliminated
- Winning a best of three grants one point, winning a best of five during "Super Week" grants two points
- Allows the use of Coach Comms
Play-In
- Bottom 3 teams from the Winners Group and 2nd to 4th place teams from the Losers Group participate
- Teams are seeded by their amount of series wins
- Round 3 is best of five
- All other matches are best of three
- Top 3 teams qualify for Playoffs
Playoffs
- 6 teams participate
- Top 2 teams from the Winners Group + top team from the Losers Group + the 3 qualifiers from Play-In
- All matches are best of five
- Top 2 teams qualify for the 2026 First Stand
