Biography[]
He began his career at 16 years old in the Spanish first division with the team Dimegio Club. However, midway through the season, the club was expelled from the competition due to unpaid debts. He continued his career outside of Spain, in Portugal, where with the team For The Win Esports, they went undefeated in the regular season, dethroning the multi-champion at the time, K1ck eSports Club. However, in the playoffs, after K1CK made star signing TynX, they defeated FTW 3-1. In that same split, Johnarnau was awarded the league MVP and Rookie of the Split.
In 2018, after almost a year of inactivity, he returned to Portugal with the team EGN Esports, where they finished third in both the regular season and the playoffs, once again demonstrating that he hadn't lost his talent. In the 3 splits he played, he finished in 2nd place once, and third in the other two.
In 2019, he competed in a Spanish amateur team, which had to close down also due to unpaid debts.
In 2020, at the start of the pandemic, he was competing in a Spanish third division team, where he dominated with the team Dead Rabbits Club, finishing first in the circuit and earning promotion to what was then the Spanish second division, surprising everyone. That same season, they finished fourth and lost to one of the favorite teams, Arena Quesito, 2-1 in the Circuito Tormenta finals. At the end of that last match, Johnarnau announced his signing with one of the two best football teams in Argentina: River Plate. This signing caused a revolution on social media, where he took the opportunity to change his name to "Eleison" as he moved to Latin America.
In 2021, he competed with River Plate from January to May, finishing fourth in the regular season and second in the playoffs. In an epic series, they made a reverse sweep against Undead Gaming, which had two Korean players, Cepted and Wiz, who had previously played in the Korean Challenger Series and one who had won the CBLOL. Finally, they lost 3-1 in the final against CASLA Esports. That same year, he returned to Spain and competed for Austrian Force eSports, a second division German team, and for KRC Genk Esports, a first division Belgian team. They finished third in the regular season and playoffs, losing 3-2 in a very close semifinal, where the team that beat them went on to win the final 3-0.
In 2022, he competed for the team QLASH Spain, where they aimed to secure a spot in the Spanish second division, but they didn't succeed, losing two finals against the teams Ramboot Club and eMonkeyz 3-2 on both occasions.
In 2023, he signed with the football team Levante UD. After a very chaotic season, they were just one map away from entering the playoffs, in a four-way tie between 6th and 10th place in the league. In the second split, Johnarnau showed improvement, although the results did not follow, and he ended up 9th in the league, missing the playoffs once again.
In his last competitive experience, in 2024 he signed with the team DREN Esports in the Italian first division, where, once again, the team was expelled from the league due to unpaid salaries to all players and staff members.
After that, Johnarnau retired from competitive play.
