Joe Miller is an esports commentator currently working as Editor in Chief at ESL. He was casting the European LCS in 2013 and 2014.
Biography[]
Joe Miller is an eSports Gaming Commentator currently under contract with ESL. His first step into competitive gaming was with Battlefield 1942 where he first got into eSports playing for one of the top Swedish teams at the age of 16. It was then he also started on his path to be a top commentator joining TsN to commentate BF1942 before moving onto Painkiller which led to him casting the legendary CPL World Tour.
Joe is one of the most experienced commentators and is most famous for his commentary at the CPL 2005 WT finals.
After the CPL he joined British QuadV, the online video game broadcaster and commentary team. After a year helping to build QuadV, Joe also moved on to work with Fnatic, as their general manager.
In October of 2008 he joined ESLTV to provide regular English commentary from ESLTV's base camp in Cologne as well as from international events such as the Intel Extreme Masters series.
He cast Riot's European League Championship Series together with Quickshot, Deficio and Deman in Cologne, Germany in both Season 3 and the 2014 season.[1]
In November of 2014, it was announced that Joe would be staying with ESL as the EU LCS moves to Berlin, thereby cutting him from the current Riot caster line-up. He will continue to cast League of Legends programming under the ESL banner while working as Editor in Chief.[2]
