Biography[]
Season 3[]
During season 3 Jockster was a jungler for many amateur teams like Lemon Gaming and Animaniacs, starting his Pro career on RMA e-Sports but the team was quickly disbanded and picked up by the Acezone organization in order to participate in the BGL tournaments. After a couple months in the Acezone organization the roster was picked by the PeesPlay Gaming organization but did not find success in the Riot Season 3 Brazilian Championship and also disbanded. After spending some time in mid lane for the Action Team Jockster was hired as the jungler for the Cyber Gamer E-Sports team, but the team was unable to win tournaments and the organization lost many players, which led into the team disband.
2014 Season[]
Jockster was invited to join Team United where he played alongside his friend MicaO in the Riot Brazilian Champion League 2014 but the team was only able to achieve the 6th place. After the end of the tournament, he and the rest of the team left the Team United organization in order to form the team Out of Position, where Jockster was placed as a support after Djokovic stepped up as the new jungler. Briefly after the roster change the team was signed by INTZ e-Sports. INTZ quickly became one of the best Brazillian teams and won major tournaments like Circuito Game7 without losing a single game, with the bot lane made of MicaO and Jockster growing into a bot lane that was very respected on the scene.
2015 Season[]
In the INTZ dominance over the CBLOL 2015 Split 1 Split, he became one of the best supports in the Brazillian scene, pulling out bans against his Veigar and providing vital peel for MicaO. After Revolta left the team to join Keyd Stars, Jockster moved back to jungler, while Alocs joined the team. After getting second place in CBLOL Split 2 2015, INTZ announced Revolta's return, and the acquisition of Loop to the support role. Instead of leaving INTZ for a starting position in other teams, Jockster decided to stay with INTZ as a substitute.[46]
2016 Season[]
In 2016 he was part of the lineup that is often referred as the Exodia of CBLOL: Yang, Revolta, tockers, micaO and Jockster, led by Peter Dun and Abaxial. The team managed to never lose a series that they played on Brazilian soil. They played at CBLOL 2016 Split 1 and consequently won CBLOL 2016 Split 1 Playoffs after beating Keyd Stars for 3x0 in the Grand Finals. With the win, they classified INTZ to the 2016 International Wildcard Invitational, where they managed to achieve 3rd place among other Wildcards regions. In the second split, they found theyselves in a rivalry against CNB e-Sports Club until they beated them by 3-1 in the finals. In the IWCQ 2016, they managed to classify to Worlds 2016, where they made history by being the only Brazilian team to defeat an Asian team from a Major league by defeating EDward Gaming, despite not qualifying for the main stage of the tournament.[47]
Trivia[]
- Spends a lot of time playing and streaming with MicaO.
- His smurf is named “Jocksterisacat” while his longtime friend and lane partner MicaO have a smurf named “Micaoisadog”.
- Was very sad due to the Veigar changes on Patch 5.4.
- After playing competitively as jungler and support, joined INTZ Red as top laner.
- Portrayed as Rek'Sai in the CBLoL 2015 official wallpaper.
- He is known for his aggressive playstyle and getting lots of kills as a support.
- In his prime, he was known by his Alistar.
- There's a running gag about Jockster frequently stealing pentakills from his AD carry. When interviewed about it, he said "as long as I'm alive, no one in my team is getting a pentakill".
- He says his favorite role in the game is jungler, but that he's more skilled as a support.
- During one of the games he played for Vivo Keyd in the CBLOL 2018 Split 1 Playoffs against RED Canids, a voice comms video revealed he screamed "Os dois coreanos não sabem jogar" (The two koreans don't know how to play) at the opposing team, refering to Winged and Sky, after he got them both killed in a gank in the midlane. The audio afterwards became a meme in the community, often used to refer when korean players in Brazil play badly or below expectancy.[48]
