Overview
IPL 5 is the fifth tournament in the IGN ProLeague tournament series. Returning IPL 4 champions, Team SoloMid, will be the only invited team to this event. Qualifying tournaments will be organized on North American, European, and multiple Asian servers for a total of 14 invites. The remaining team will be determined at IPL 5 via a live, open bracket qualifier.
Format

- Sixteen teams divided into four groups of four
- Best of One Round Robin
- Top two of each group advance to playoffs
- Playoffs
- Double elimination
- Best of One
- Best of Five Grand Finals
- Winners Bracket team starts with a one game advantage
