Biography
Chris "Horder" Feng was born in Mississauga, Ontario and grew up in Niagra Falls, Ontario. He began playing League of Legends at the age of 8, after his sister's friend introduced the game to him.
Horder began as a
Jax one trick in solo queue. He reached challenger for the first time during Season 12.
2023 Season
Horder began to play compete in official tournaments in 2023. In the spring, Horder debuted during 2023 Spring Qualifier 2 on Return of the Middlesticks. In the Summer, he joined Team Ambition as a substitute and played a couple of matches in the 2023 Summer Qualifier 2.
2024 Season
In Spring 2024, Horder was signed to Team Fish Taco to play in the Open Qualifiers. Team Fish Taco was a heavy favorite to promote, as it was comprised of multiple players who had previously achieved promotion, but weren't able to play in the NACL. However, the team disappointingly placed 8th-11th in the 2024 Spring Qualifier 1. As a result, Horder was replaced for the rest of the split.
Despite the discouraging result of Spring, Horder went on to bootcamp in Korea before the summer split, where he reached challenger.
Upon arriving back in North America, Horder joined Pulse Star, another promotion-hopeful qualifier team. This time, the team achieved promising results, placing 3rd-4th in Summer Qualifier 1. However, the team stumbled during Summer Qualifer 2, in which they finished a disappointing 5th-8th. Fortunately, though, Pulse Star had gathered enough qualifier points from the first qualifier to play in 2025 Spring NACL Promotion. Pulse Star had a rocky start to the tournament-- they were knocked to the lower bracket in the first round, but they managed to narrowly fight their way to the final qualification match against AOE Esports. Ultimately, AOE Esports won in a decisive 3-0 victory, and Pulse Star failed to qualify for NACL.
2025 Season
In beginning of 2025, Horder joined Tempest Gaming in the 2025 NACL Split 1 Qualifier. The qualifier was highly competitive, featuring teams like Near Airport, which consisted of Doublelift and friends, and Citadel Gaming, which consisted of former LCS and top NACL players. After fighting through the lower bracket, Tempest Gaming came face-to-face with Citadel Gaming, an expensive roster filled with ex-LCS players. In a surprising upset, Tempest Gaming won the close match, and Horder and his teammates earned themselves a spot in 2025 NACL Split 1.
Before Split 1 began, Tempest Gaming's spot and roster was acquired by Conviction, but the players remained the same. Despite a competitive NACL split, Conviction performed far above expectations. In a shocking upset, they took down Near Airport in the Playoffs, knocking them out and placing 3rd overall after a close 3-2 loss to DarkZero.
In Split 2, Horder joined Supernova, favorite for making the LCS promotion. Supernova got off to a strong start, winning every game of the Regular Season in the first weeks. They came out 1st place in the regular season, despite a rocky final week. In the Playoffs, however, Supernova lost in the first round in a close but shocking upset to 8th seed Blue Otter, but managed to fight their way through the lower bracket to face Blue Otter again, but were demolished 3-0. Supernova finished the split with a 4th place finish. Horder's performance earned him several individual awards, including NACL Rookie of the Year, NACL 2nd All-Pro Team, and NACL 3rd Most Valuable Prospect.
After the competitive season, Horder continued to pursue proplay by participating in the SIDO Combine, where he was selected for an in-person bootcamp along with 9 other promising NACL players.
