The LoL Esports Hall of Legends was created by Riot Games in 2024 to celebrate those players who have made a lasting impact on the game, the sport, and the community while concurrently honoring their legacies within League of Legends esports.
Every year, one player will be inducted into the Hall of Legends, voted by an independent panel of esports industry veterans and experts from around the world. Players are chosen based on significant criteria including international berths, international and regional titles, role specific stats, and overall contributions to the sport.
All those inducted into the Hall of Legends will be presented with an official trophy and honored with an in-game event, including a game pass and purchasable custom cosmetic items based on their career accolades and records. In addition, inductees and their teams will receive a percentage of revenue from the sale of passes and bundles on a prorated basis.
