Biography[]
Brian "guitar" Cordry hails from a Denver, CO. He has since relocated, following the successful qualification of Velocity eSports for the Season 3 LCS Summer Split.
Outside of League of Legends, he studied Petroleum Engineering at Colorado School of Mines. There, he worked at various firms and more recently at a national bank.
Cordry was first introduced to League of Legends when he was invited by a friend who he played DotA with to try it out. As far as first impressions go, he thought that the perspective and the art style were "doo-doo". He played Blitzcrank because he felt that it was similiar to a champion in DotA called Pudge and both wrecked faces. He got hooked immediately. (Pun intended)
He played Jungler competitively for a team called Severity Gaming in seasons 1 and 2. As he started working more, he moved to a management role at the end of season 2.
Trivia[]
- Brian, true to his namesake, plays the guitar. He also sings.
- Some of his other hobbies include weightlifting, basketball, and cooking.
- He feels that dogs are the best animal.
- His favorite role to play is Jungle.
- Is said to have helped create the popular "Bravery" build with fellow Team Liquid forum-poster, Caller.
- Brian also insists that he invented the level 2 gank while playing Trundle in a tournament game against Xpecial, who was playing Ryze during Season 1.
