The Golden League is the biggest League of Legends championship and one of the most important esports events in Colombia. The teams compete for a prize pool and the chance to fight for a spot in the LLA. It's organized by the Spanish Liga de Videojuegos Profesional.
Format
- Five teams from participate.
- King of the hill bracket.
- All matches are best of five.
- 8th place of the GL Opening Season gets a bye into the finals.
- 1st place of the CNCO Opening Season gets a bye into the semifinals.
- 2nd place of the CNCO Opening Season gets a bye into the quarterfinals.
- 3rd and 4th place of the CNCO Opening Season play in round 1.
- Round 1 - 3rd seed faces 4th seed.
- Quarterfinals - 2nd seed faces round 1 winner.
- Semifinals - 1st seed faces quarterfinal winner.
- Finals - GL 8th seed faces semifinals winner.
- Winner qualifies for the GL 2019 Closing Season.
