Biography[]
2014 Season[]
Wei "GodV" Zhen (sometimes stylized GODV) joined LGD Gaming in May of 2014 as their new mid laner under the name "We1less", after leaving Vici Gaming, his team since September 2012. LGD were knocked out extremely early in the Demacia Cup Season 2, losing 2-1 to Team RM in the first round. They placed fourth in the 2014 LPL Summer Regular Season qualifying for the 2014 LPL Summer Playoffs, but failed to win a single game, losing 3-0 to both EDward Gaming and Star Horn Royal Club. LGD also qualified for the 2014 Season China Regional Finals, but were eliminated in the second round with a 2-1 loss to OMG.
2015 Season[]
LGD made the quarterfinals of the 2015 Demacia Cup Spring Season, but lost 3-0 to Invictus Gaming. Later, they finished sixth in the 2015 LPL Spring Regular Season. LGD upset both OMG and Snake eSports 3-0 in the Playoffs to reach the finals, ultimately losing 3-2 to EDward Gaming.
In the offseason, We1less changed his name to "GodV". LGD, now feared in China, were upset 3-0 by OMG in the 2015 Demacia Cup Summer Season. The team placed fifth in the 2015 LPL Summer Regular Season to qualify for the Seeding Match of the 2015 LPL Summer Playoffs. They fought their way to the finals, upsetting EDG 3-0 along the way. The team beat the Qiao Gu Reapers 3-2 in the finals to qualify for the 2015 Season World Championship as China's top seed. LGD was placed in a group alongside Team SoloMid, Origen, and KT Rolster, but failed to meet expectations and were eliminated in the group stage with with a 2-4 record, losing their first three games.
2016 Preseason[]
Going into IEM San Jose, GodV renamed to PAinEvil. LGD were knocked out in the first round, losing 0-2 to Team SoloMid. On December 29, PAinEvil renamed back to We1less.[5]
2016 Season[]
LGD entered the 2016 Season with a new top laner and jungler, replacing Flame and TBQ with MaRin and Eimy. The team hoped to bounce back from their rough recent performances and entered the 2016 LPL Spring Season with high hopes. Placed in Group A, LGD struggled in the first several weeks of play, with problems with team synergy and communication evident. In the second half of the season, they performed better and finished 4th in their group with an 8-8 record. They faced off against Vici Gaming in Round 1 of the Playoffs, but lost 1-3. In summer, the team finished 5th place in their group and were required to play in the 2017 LPL Spring Promotion, where they re-qualified for the next LPL split with a 3-1 win over Newbee.
2017 Season[]
Despite having a promising roster, LGD continued to struggle and finished the 2017 LPL Spring Season in last place in their group. Although they had to once again attend the Summer Promotion tournament, they re-qualified for the LPL with a 3-0 win over Young Miracles. In the summer season GODV stepped back after the team acquired Cool as their primary mid laner, and he left the team in October, retiring from professional League of Legends to play PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds professionally.

- His ID GodV and We1less are both based on his real famliy name (Wei).
- He is called "韦神" (Wei Shen) in China, which means God Wei. This also bears resemblance to his real name, Wei Zhen (韦朕).
- His IDs were heavily memed by the western community after his performances in international tournaments, people online would often call him GoldV, Winless, and PlatEvil.
- He is also called "V DOG" in China, which means Dog Wei.
- Reached Challenger after playing the game for 2 weeks.
