Major Qualifiers 2025 Split 1 is a Brazilian semi-professional League of Legends tournament. The year of 2025 features a new format, placing all the previous Major A, B and C teams in a pot-based format to qualify for the playoffs.[1]

Overview

Format

  • 44 teams participate, split in 4 pots of equal team numbers each
    • Teams face 2 teams of each pot (including their own) by a draw, totalizing 8 matches
    • Matches are BO1
    • Single Round Robin
  • Top 8 teams advance to Major A Playoffs
  • Top 9 to 16 advance to Major B Playoffs
  • Top 17 to 24 advance to Major C Playoffs
  • Other teams play in the Copa do Vazio
  • Ties are broken by the following methods:
    1. Head-to-head record during regular season (only if all tied teams played against with all other tied teams)
    2. Shortest average win time
    3. Shortest unique win time
    4. If still tied, a tiebreaker game will be played
