Biography[]

Jérémy "Eika" Valdenaire is from Nancy, France. He left university to pursue competitive League of Legends full time.

2015 Preseason[]

In September 2014, Eika joined PLATINRUSHH, a team that was formed to attempt to qualify for the EU Expansion Tournament via the Challenger ladder. However, they finished in seventh place on the ladder, behind SK Gaming Prime, and did not qualify for the tournament. The team disbanded in November.

Eika then became one of the founding members of Nevo, along with Smittyj, Gilius, Jébus, and Hiiva, an attempt to qualify for the Summer Season of the 2015 LCS via participation in the Challenger Series.

2016 Season[]

Eika joined Elements in January 2016, along with Steve, Gilius, MrRallez, and sprattel (formerly promisQ). The team's roster seemed weak to fans for the 2016 spring split, and many expected them to be relegated; however, they were able to hang on to seventh place for the majority of the split to automatically requalify for the summer split without seeing any post-season play.

2020 Season[]

After having played in European national leagues for several years, mostly with the French organization Team LDLC, Eika was picked up by the newly-reformed Immortals to play in the LCS. This move was heavily criticized by the community due to Eika's lack of experience at the highest level and the perception that he was taking a spot away from better NA resident mid laners. Eika's play in his first LCS split was not particularly impressive, but Immortals managed to pick up multiple wins anyway, ending Weeks 3 and 4 tied for second place behind the dominant Cloud9. They declined after that but remained competitive for one of the final playoff spots. Going into Week 9, Immortals needed only a single win to clinch playoffs but faltered just before the finish line as Dignitas and Golden Guardians surged, forcing them into a three-way tiebreaker for the final playoff spot. Placed into the first round against Dignitas, Immortals were unable to reverse their slide and lost, ending their season.
