Overview[]
The 2016 Season Championship Series is the fourth season of Europe's fully professional League of Legends league. In the Promotion Tournament four teams will compete in two matches. The winners of the two matches of the Promotion Tournament will advance to the 2016 LCS Spring Season. The losers of the two matches automatically qualify for the 2016 EUCS Spring Season.
Format[]
- Four teams
- Second and third placed teams from 2015 Challenger Series Summer Playoffs.
- Eight and ninth placed teams from 2015 LCS Summer Regular Season.
- Top seeded LCS team will be allowed to select their opponent from the two Challenger Series teams
- Both matches are Best of Five
- Official 2016 Season LCS Rulebook
- All matches are played on patch V5.15
