DreamHack Valencia 2012 Qualifiers took place from
Eight teams will play for a 5,000 euro prize pool. One team will be invited, three teams will qualify through region-specific online qualifiers, and four teams will play through an on-site Bring-Your-Own-Computer qualifier.
Format[]
- French Qualifier
- First stage - round robin group play, two groups of three, best of one matches
- Second stage - Top one team of each group are put into a single elimination bracket, matches are best of three
- Italian Qualifier
- Single elimination bracket
- All matches are best of three
- Portuguese Qualifier
- First stage - eight teams play best of threes, four winning teams advance to second stage
- Second stage - round robin group stage, matches are best of one, teams play each other twice
- Top two group stage teams play in a best of three
- BYOC Qualifier
- Single elimination bracket, all matches are best of one
- Top four teams qualify for the main event
