DreamHack Summer 2013 is a LAN tournament that will take place in Jönköping, Sweden.
Overview[]
DreamHack Summer 2013 will feature an amateur tournament with eight teams competing for a 195,000 Swedish Kronor prizepool with 70,000 SEK going to the winner Those games will be cast by Panky and Tekno Link, and hosted by SeltzerPlease. DreamHack will also host the first week of the European Summer LCS with all eight teams attending. Those games will be cast by Deman, Qu1ksh0t, Joe Miller and Jason Kaplan and hosted by sjokz.
Format[]
Amateur tournament[]
- Four teams from online qualifiers, four teams from BYOC qualifier
- Eight teams divided into two groups of four
- Group Stage matches are round robin, best of one
- Top two of each group advance to bracket
- Bracket Stage matches are best of three
European LCS Matches[]
- All eight European LCS Teams attend
- Each team plays 5 matches over the weekend
- One game per match
