Biography[]
Season 2[]
Bae "dade" Eo-jin began his career as the mid laner for CJ Entus on September 9, 2012, replacing Pecko. His very first tournament with the team was the Season 2 Korea Regional Finals, where CJ lost 3-1 in the fifth place tie-breaker to Incredible Miracle. They competed in IEM Cologne and made it to the semifinals but lost 2-1 to Fnatic.
Season 3[]
CJ qualified for OLYMPUS Champions Winter 2012-2013 and even managed to make the playoffs, but they lost 3-2 to Azubu Frost. In February, the CJ organization picked up Azubu Frost and Azubu Blaze to form CJ Entus Frost and CJ Entus Blaze. With the formation of these teams, CJ decided to drop the original team entirely. Dade joined MVP Ozone as their new mid laner after the disbandment. His first official tournament with the team was GIGABYTE StarsWar League Season 2. Unfortunately, Ozone placed fourth in their group and missed the playoffs. Back in Korea, they played in OLYMPUS Champions Spring 2013 where they managed to pull one of the biggest upsets in League of Legends' history by beating CJ Blaze 3-0 in the finals. They came into HOT6iX Champions Summer 2013 as a force to be reckoned with. However, they ended in third place after losing 3-1 to SK Telecom T1 but beating CJ Frost 3-2 in the third place match. Ozone had earned enough circuit points to automatically qualify for the Season 3 World Championship as the second seed from Korea. A week later, Ozone and its sister team, MVP Blue, were bought by Samsung to form Samsung Galaxy Ozone and Samsung Galaxy Blue. Ozone disappointed at Worlds, missing the bracket stage after a loss in a tie-breaker to Gambit Gaming. In particular, dade was singled out for his poor performance.
2014 Season[]
The new season started for Ozone at PANDORA.TV Champions Winter 2013-2014. They managed to make the finals but were stomped 3-0 by an undefeated SKT K. After the season was over, dade was swapped with Blue's mid laner, PawN. Dade and his new team outperformed expectations at HOT6iX Champions Spring 2014 by winning the tournament 3-1 against NaJin White Shield, even defeating Ozone along the way. Dade became the first player outside SKT K to win two seasons of OGN, earning the title of "King of Spring". Blue continued their success in HOT6iX Champions Summer 2014 by making the finals, this time losing a close 3-2 set to the KT Rolster Arrows. They still earned enough circuit points to qualify for the 2014 Season World Championship as the top seed from Korea. They made the semifinals at worlds but met their sister team, White, and lost 3-0 to them. On November 1, 2014, dade announced that his contract with Samsung Blue had ended.[20] Along with Looper, dade joined Team WE Academy on December 6.[21] LPL rules forced WE Academy to split from Team WE to form Masters 3.
2015 Season[]
M3 competed in the 2015 Demacia Cup Spring Season and managed to make it to the quarterfinals but they lost 3-0 to EDward Gaming. A few weeks later they ended in ninth place for the 2015 LPL Spring Regular Season, missing playoffs. M3 were forced to play in the 2015 LPL Summer Promotion where they managed to requalify after beating Energy Pacemaker 3-0 in the semifinals. They participated in the 2015 Demacia Cup Summer Season, this time losing 3-0 in the round of 16 to Team WE. During the 2015 LPL Summer Regular Season, M3 managed to place eighth and qualify for the 2015 LPL Summer Playoffs but they lost in the first round 3-0 to OMG.
2016 Season[]
Dade left Masters3 in December to join the Qiao Gu Reapers as a sub in January. He left the Qiao Gu Reapers in March, but in April, dade rejoined to fill in for doinb, but he was unable to play because of a late roster swap and LPL ruling. Dade once again left the team and returned to Korea.
In May 2016, Qiao Gu Reapers renamed to Newbee.[22]
