Biography[]

Carlos Alberto Méndez Mayoral was born and raised in Hermosillo, Mexico. He started playing video games such as GunZ and Counter Strike at 11 years old. In December 2010, DCStar started playing League of Legends, unaware that it had a huge competitive scene. When he saw the Season 2 World Championship, he decided to take the game seriously.

His eSports career began in August 2013, when he joined Destroy Gaming as their midlaner. In January 2014 he then went to Art of War, moving to the support role. This team was later acquired by BrawL.LAN. DCStar and the rest of the BrawL roster left in July 2014. Two months later, the Satori organization asked him to join their team Satori Red.
