2016 Preseason[]
Kim "Crush" Jun-seo joined e-mFire as a jungler on January 5, 2016. In February, the team found a new title sponsor in Kongdoo and renamed to Kongdoo Monster.
2016 Season[]
During the 2016 LCK Spring Season, Kongdoo Monster went 1-17 in sets, ending in last place. This forced them to play a relegation match against challenger team MVP, who defeated them 3-1 and relegating them to Challengers Korea 2016 Summer.
